Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner Call it Quits

Beloved couple Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are throwing in the towel after four years of marriage.

The 34-year-old “Jonas Brothers” frontman filed divorce papers in Miami Dade County, Florida on Tuesday, 5 September. The leaked court documents reportedly stated that “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.”

One source told an international publication that the split was due to the 27-year-old “Game of Thrones” actress’ wild social life. “She likes to party; he likes to stay at home. They have very different lifestyles,” the unnamed insider said shortly after the court documents were filed.

According to reports, the pair’s two daughters – who are three-years-old and 14-months-old respectively – have been staying with their father, even while he was on tour with his band. However, Jonas is believed to have requested “shared parental responsibility” and will be seeking to set up a joint custody agreement between the two parties.

The family is based in Florida however, Turner has previously expressed interest in returning to England – where she has been staying while working on an upcoming television series – as she was desperately homesick.

While the former couple have a prenuptial agreement in place, the best way forward is likely to be determined and revealed in due time in divorce court. .
